I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Oren Appel for over two decades, and our first connection was somewhat unexpected, resembling a “blind date.” Although it didn’t lead to a romantic relationship, it forged a meaningful professional and human bond that has endured through the years.
Our paths have often run parallel, with shared experiences of working together in a consulting company and crossing paths at conferences and friendly exchanges. So, when Oren asked me to participate in an interview, it was during a challenging week filled with a range of emotions. I questioned if I was ready for an open conversation, considering the complexity of the circumstances, but ultimately, I decided to embrace the opportunity.
I had a realization that engaging in this conversation might offer clarity, perspective, or valuable tools to navigate through the situation. With hope in my heart, I dove into the interview with an open mind and spirit ❤️.
The conversation with Oren was truly enjoyable, and I believe you will find it equally insightful and thought-provoking. I encourage you to listen and participate, as we explore ways to improve the lives of employees and managers, fostering organizational happiness. After all, a positive and harmonious workplace is where we thrive, building strong connections with our colleagues and managers.
I invite you to embark on this journey with us.
