More than a decade ago, while I was in the midst of writing my PhD on conscious leadership in organizations,
My sense of self-worth was low.
I felt small. Not enough. Unworthy.
I remember one evening, I went to the cinema.
And in the audience sat Shari Arison.
She was a true inspiration for me.
Someone who bridges spirit and matter, exactly the essence of my research topic.
I wanted so much to go over, introduce myself, share my work, and my research.
But I froze.
My body just wouldn’t move.
Later, I was angry with myself
for the fear, for the lack of courage,
for not being fully present in that moment.
Yesterday, more than ten years later – the circle closed ✨
I entered the TEDx hall, and the first thing I saw—again —was her.
But this time, I walked up to her.
With an open heart and full presence.
I shared the story from back then and asked to take a photo together.
She smiled, and in that moment, I felt.t
The little girl inside me finally stands tall and says:
“I’m here. I’m enough. I’m worthy.”
Today, it’s so clear to me that when we’re connected to our own self-worth
We find the courage.
To show up fully – to initiate, create, and dare
Research shows that the higher our self-esteem, the greater our performance and success.
But beyond research, it simply feels different when we truly believe we are worthy.
